Operation Save the World.

Gajenda!!! My MAN!

So, we were walking aimlessly down the street and this man looks over at me and says, “Are you from America?” Apparently he could tell from my accent.

He started talking to me and while I can’t remember exactly what he said, it was something about reading people through their eyes and something made me want to talk to him.

To all you skeptics out there… I never have believed that people have any sort of psychic power or ability to “read” people but one of the first things Gajenda said to me was that “my Dad was extremely reserved, didn’t talk much and my Mom was dominant and with my Mom, there is always an argument.” Sorry Mom - but we both know it’s true! That’s part of our relationship, we do argue a lot but at the end of the day, that’s okay.

The first he said to Marlee is that she didn’t drink enough water and she doesn’t get enough oxygen, both of which are true.

So we talk for a few more minutes in the street and then he asks if we want to go sit with him. After a quick price check, we both agreed we wanted to go. He led us into a HEATED restaurant (already worth the price) and we sat down for some tea.

Among the things he first said to me were:

- I appear to be very strong and tough on the outside but in fact am very emotional and sensitive on the inside

- I wanted to help people - specifically that I want to help people in Africa and Asia

- That I would do a volunteer project in Africa (already did that)

- That I am attracted to dark people (also true, at times, in more than one way)

- That if I had a lot of money, I would give it all away to charity

- That if I had a million dollars I’d be happy, but that I’d also be happy with 1 rupee (less than 1 cent)

- That I will travel to more than 100 countries and that I love to travel

- That I will work abroad

Essentially, everything he said about me was true. And there were bizarre things that he said, for instance he mentioned my mother was re-married and I never mentioned my parents were divorced. He knew that I had 1 elder brother (technically true by blood).

It was the most insane experience I have ever had - he would pause every now and then and shut his eyes and I swear to you he was “listening” to someone. I won’t go into what he said to Marlee because it’s personal, but there were some tears shed and Gajenda blew our minds.

He was like our Indian God.
